Leave
For an employment contract, Onboardly keeps a leave balance — it accrues the days due and subtracts those used. The employee sees the balance in their panel.
Leave balance
For employees on an employment contract, the system keeps a leave balance: it accrues the days due and reduces them by those used. The employee sees the current balance in the Employee portal panel.
How you record leave today
You record leave as an entry in the employee's calendar — with the type “leave” and a number of days/hours. This entry reduces the balance shown in the panel.
What's on the roadmap
A full leave-request workflow (submission and approval), advanced RCP (clock-ins, kiosk, geolocation), and e-ZLA are on the roadmap — the next phase. Today you record leave as an entry in the employee's calendar, and the balance is shown in the panel.Related: Employee portal · Active and archived employees
