Setup
Team and permissions
You invite users by email and assign them roles. Onboardly distinguishes between organization owner, admin, HR and viewer, and you protect accounts with a password and two-factor authentication.
Inviting users
- 1You enter the email address of the person you're inviting.
- 2You choose the role they should receive.
- 3The person gets an email invitation and sets up access to the panel.
Roles
| Role | Scope |
|---|---|
| Organization owner | Full access to the organization: completes the onboarding wizard, manages companies, invites users and assigns roles. |
| Admin | Manages configuration and users within permissions below the owner. |
| HR | Runs onboardings, employees and document files — day-to-day operational work. |
| Viewer | Read-only access — view without making changes. |
You'll find a full description of each role's scope and access boundaries on the Roles and access page.
Account security
- Password — protects every user's login.
- 2FA — two-factor authentication with a TOTP code from an authenticator app.
- Password reset — self-service recovery when you forget your password.
2FA relies on a TOTP code — a one-time code generated cyclically in an authenticator app. Enable it for accounts with access to employee data.
